Prior to the songs of B.r.o.o.M.
there were many musical experiments. I was very into hiphop and
electric music throughout the 80's, experimenting with a couple
turn tables, a Roland 626 drum machine and an extremely shitty sampler.
I worked with a couple em-cees known as K-La Funk and Vicious V.
I went by the name of dj d-feat and at times King Jess. In 1993,
while in Ruesselsheim, Germany; I first started singing, I guess
you could call it punk. Worked with a brilliant young guitarist
called Fish-Mack. Came back to the states in 94. Hooked up with
William Brand and Dan Wirth, started playing B.r.o.o.M. songs, The
Roland 626 was still providing the beats. Dan then 18 and myself
20 found a drummer / guitar-player / singer / songwriter / Neil
Young impersonator by the name of Ken Fike.We played around for
about 4 months, calling ourselves King Jess. Around the end of 1995
I formed the very first B.r.o.o.M. |
